Nya Sienna Yates is Here!!!!

Our baby GIRL (we didn't find out the sex of the baby so we were suprised and thrilled to find out we had a girl) was born Oct 2nd at 3:25am. She weighed 8lbs 5oz and was 20.5 " long. She has a lot of dark hair - just like Sid when he was born.

She is now just over two weeks old, and let me tell you - she is the most amazing calm mild mannered, good sleeping baby I have ever seen. She almost never cries and is sleeping really well (which means, I am sleeping well - YAY). Sid loves his sister, but is acting out quite a bit. He misses being the center of my attention all the time. I am trying my best to help him get past it.

I am feeling great. I had a natural delivery just like I wanted. No pain killers or epidural. My labor was fast and I pushed her out in 15 mins! It was just as I hoped! And my recovery has been so fast. A very different experience than my first in every way - other than the fact that I was totally in LOVE and am still totall in love with each one of my sweet babies.

The results are in!!! I passed!

Well, yesterday I received my official results of all three Oregon Board Exams. I passed (of course..hehe).
I should have a license in my hand in the next week or two. It's feels pretty amazing to know that a little over a year ago, I was only thinking about massage school...and hadn't even started yet. Now, I am done with school and will soon to ready to start my business. I am so excited and can I say I'm proud of myself? Cuz I am!

YAY! I am done

I took my practical board exam in Salem this morning. My dad drove down there with me and my mom watch Sid. It was really nice having the company and convo on the way down. I thought I would be really nervous, but I wasn't at all. I feel like I did really well and should get the results of my test in about a week. I am so excited to actually be done!!! I don't even remember what its like to not study..lol. Now I can just relax and prepare for our baby

Tomorrow is the big day

Tomorrow I got to Salem to take my Practical Board Exam. I am a little nervous, but feeling pretty confident overall. I think the nerves just come from the fact that there will be THREE examiners in the room with me, that's gotta make anyone nervous. I will be thrilled once it is all over and I can apply for my license and be official! I put in a lot of hard work to get to this point.

One down, one to go

Well, I took my written board exam today...and passed! Not that I am suprised, but I AM relieved. Now I can spend the next two weeks stressing about my practical exam..lol.
Lots of practicing to do for that one.
